As we fly away into the new year I would like to start a thread that honors the regional carrier's through out the year of 2006. Best award for best carrier that I will issue, goes to four carriers that I feel deserve a lot of credit and not star ******ing their employees.

Air Wisconsin has lost well over 1/2 the pilot group in the last two years. The divorce rate since the 'great move east' has quadrupled according to a union rep. By and large, schedules in our biggest base (PHL) are not only low-credit, but uncommutable. Our crew scheduling manager refuses to approve trip trade and add requests because of "Maintain RSV Coverage" (WTF does that have to do with adding or trading a trip

Oh yeah, our insurance rates for 2007 nearly doubled.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy my job and have been treated well by the company...but its not all sunshine & flowers here.
