I was based out of CLE and averaged about 35 hrs/month. I spent a LOT of time being dead headed to other bases (mostly Columbus or Louisville) to sit for 4-5 days at a time and not fly. I wouldn't have minded only flying 35 hours a month if I had been able to stay in base for all my waiting. Oh well. Sounds like I will get used quite a bit on reserve at XJT
