I made acronyms to remember them (REEPIR, etc.) and just went over them again and again and again and again and again until I could recite them from memory. Then my examiner (Dallas FSDO) let me follow along with my PTS throughout the exam, and I had all the acronyms written in the margins
Go figure.
Impress them in the first 15 minutes and the rest will be cake. The lunch break on my practical was longer than the actual flight!
