If you are going to commute to a hub, MEM is a tough one. While the upside is Fedex 6 days a week, the downside is expensive hotels near the airport. A crashpad will likely require a car. If you are going to live in base though MEM isn't so bad. Just keep your head down, make sure your A/C works, and start a gym membership when you get there because the BBQ gets you after a while!
