The problem is at the top of the union. A few senior old SOB widebody captains will happily go along with management and throw the 737's and 320's under the bus in order to secure a few more dollars/hour for their golden years. They don't care about the long term, they just want to cash in while they can. It's up to the junior mainline folks to stop this sh*t.
