1) This is only a wag...and I am not an expert.
2) I "believe" that once you are awarded a reserve line for June, sliding your vacation is not possible. However, using the next steps may eliminate your need to do so.
3) Remember with a reserve line, you can extend (not expand) your vacation a few days using the higher-level math equation. If you want to max avoid reserve, this is important. See the CBA for specifics.
4) Decide if you want to keep or waive 48hr vacation buffers on back & front of vacation.
5) Under Vacation Adjustments, use the Reserve Line Reconstruction tab to pretty please ask for how you want any remaining reserve days to be grouped. Instructions for how to do this should be visible to you on this tab. Use plain English: e.g. "Keeping the back-end buffer, I want June 9-18 off. Please group any remaining reserve days June 20-25 (first choice) or June 19-24 (second choice)."
6) Finally, review all your requests in Bid Period Processing Summary and make it good BEOFRE Monday morning.
7) Rotsa ruck!
