To use the baseball analogy, I would say that what I'm doing with the options is more like hitting singles very consistently and almost never striking out. I'm using them simply to create consistent cash flow and manage risk, not to speculate on stock price or option price.
And for tsquare - I spend WAY more time here on APC than I do on managing my accounts!

A single strategy works until...it doesn't work as the other team brings in their Cy Young winner.
