I agree with you, but I think as airline pilots we are in a class that no one really cares about. The republicans look at us as labor, and the democrats view us as over paid white collar professionals that vote republican. Management has done a good job of turning the voting public against us by saying that a pay raise for pilots equals a bump in ticket prices. Which in turn seems to enforce the way democrats view us also. Just my opinion, and it isn't worth a cent.
