On a more positive note, there are worse places to be. The past 4 years, while it would have been nice to be a CA by now, haven't been horrible. Have there been times when the company has done things to p!ss me off? Yes. Have there been times when I at least feel like I got screwed by the company? Yes. (Healthcare, stock purchase, etc.)
Unfortunately, coming from another airline previously, I can say that it happens everywhere to some extent. Overall I would say I'm happy with my job, and as one of my non-aviation friends said to me, "At least you're still getting a paycheck".
I don't know your situation, but as a second year FO (Jet line holder) if you're willing to work I know it is possible to make $50k+ and third year almost $60k, which for a single pilot is liveable in most places. (Provided you aren't living in SFO or some place like that) Probably a little harder though if you have a wife and kids. Keep in mind though this is working pretty hard also.
No idea about the Bro guys though, maybe someone who is a little more knowledgeable than me about it can chime in?
Hopefully there is some merit to the movement that is happening now and it will result in some more opportunities, I guess it's better than nothing.
