If you are that excited to fly and pursue it as a long term career, you need to get used to doing "extra work". If you are not the type of person who is willing to put forth extra effort, you may be unhappy in the future. What I mean by that is once you get your regional time in and it is time to apply to the good airlines hiring where you want to hang your hat, you will find you are competing against A LOT of pilots willing to do whatever it takes to get those jobs. If you sit there and think "oh I don't know if going to SWA, FedEx, etc is worth the extra effort as opposed to Airline X", that's not the attitude to have IMHO. In any case, good luck.
