In addition to certifying DOH last November, Pinnacle pilots' "seniority date" was also certified with full knowledge of the other two merger committees. "Seniority date" at PCL is synonymous with "hire date" at MSA and CJC and has been included on all seniority list submissions to arbitrator Bloch throughout this process. Since the passing of the JCBA, the date formerly know as "hire date" at PCL is now obsolete (in accordance with LOA 2.V of the JCBA), hence its omission from the updated seniority list presented this week. This omission was done in accordance with Protocol Agreement paragraph 4.d (signed by all three MEC Chairmen last September).
Protocol Agreement paragraph 4.d.
The certified seniority lists will be modified to reflect changes in individual pilot employment data prior to the completion of the SLI process or submission of issues for a final and binding Arbitration Award.
