I just had a talk with someone in flight operations and he indicated that they will NOT even consider a low time pilot anymore unless he/she is from a 141 program. Yet the new 1500/ATP rule is not in effect yet. He said only 1500/ATP for non-141 pilots.

Did I hear him wrong? Can/should I still apply? They use to take low timers and judging from a topic I started, they "need" pilots.
