Average Class Size

What's the average number starting class at AWAC every 2 weeks? With the intent to grow by 500, that's roughly 20 in class twice a month. Based on what I'm reading, they're barely keeping up with attrition. The numbers that finish class is a whole different question, I'm guessing 2 or 3 wash out of every class on average maybe?

Quick take is showing 547 pilots to 65 jets, which is 8.5 pilots per plane, which would explain the junior manning. I guess I have to question what's being done to plug the leaks? It doesn't sound like a lot. That said, if a plan were actually communicated and put into action, someone getting in today could be in a good spot seniority wise.

The company is in no hurry to fully staff. Sure they're losing money to cancellations and 200% pay. That money lost pales in comparison to what they would pay a fully staffed airline. In the past year weve seen a net gain of about 70 total and theres nothing to indicate that pace will change.

Sounds great if you're single, want to fly, and like money. If you have a family maybe less so. Thanks for the info.

Their only plan at this point is keep running every one six on one off. For most commuters...you will not go home here. Fo attrition is picking up as well. Good times here. Good times.

Most of my friends make a similar or larger amount of money with more block while working less days at Republic and SKW.

yeah but we make more money per seat. They fly bigger aircraft for the same money, so that makes us better.
