Average Class Size
What's the average number starting class at AWAC every 2 weeks? With the intent to grow by 500, that's roughly 20 in class twice a month. Based on what I'm reading, they're barely keeping up with attrition. The numbers that finish class is a whole different question, I'm guessing 2 or 3 wash out of every class on average maybe?
Quick take is showing 547 pilots to 65 jets, which is 8.5 pilots per plane, which would explain the junior manning. I guess I have to question what's being done to plug the leaks? It doesn't sound like a lot. That said, if a plan were actually communicated and put into action, someone getting in today could be in a good spot seniority wise.

The company is in no hurry to fully staff. Sure they're losing money to cancellations and 200% pay. That money lost pales in comparison to what they would pay a fully staffed airline. In the past year weve seen a net gain of about 70 total and theres nothing to indicate that pace will change.
