Maybe we’re too expensive. Or maybe they’re still ticked about last summer’s staffing cancellation jamboree. Or maybe they’re giving us ERJs tomorrow. Nothing has really made sense to me regarding which United Express carriers are getting what. United seems to have a pretty clever long term strategy going on, but all that info is way above our pay grade.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

GoJet had the 25 CRJ700 that would be over scope with the ExpressJet 175s coming in, so some seats needed to be pulled.

It’s not good news. It’s also not bad news. It’s no news for AW.

It’s good news for the pilots at GoJet that we’re looking at the potential of not having any flying for at least 25 of their airplanes.

A gojet 50 seat expansion in ORD means we’re probably not ever getting back the flying we lost over the summer.

Maybe United has enough pie planned that everyone will get a bigger piece, but I’m not optimistic that this isn’t some kind of bad news for ZW.

If nothing else it acknowledges the reality that most business and first class travelers would rather take a moderately severe beating than fly in a CRJ200...

The 50 seater is still required in some markets due to airport slot restrictions. Delta just signed a 50 year slot lease at LGA for 55 seats or less aircraft. They will be around for a very long time.

LGA won't be above water in 50 years.

Right. “The end of the world is like 12 years away!”
Such poppycock.
