Default Leaving the AT Program for another regional?

Close to my R-ATP hours and strongly considering other carriers instead of Air Wisconsin.

Those who have left the program and took advantage of their flight benefits, how did it go when you broke the news?

It went fine, had to play phone tag with the recruiter in charge of the program. He wasn't too happy to hear I wanted out and tried to convince me for approximately 2 minutes to stay. After that he said alright just write a formal email to me and state the reason why you're leaving (which I had already done at that point leading up to the phone conversation). Good luck and don't sweat it, plenty of candidates hop out of the program.

Thanks for the reply! I was reading a horror story on another forum that said someone got billed about $600 for using the flight benefits. I assume (hope) you didn't experience anything like that?

I too left as AWAC just wasn't the best choice for me, in my situation. I sent a formal resignation email, but never heard anything back for a few weeks until I got a letter in the mail about my Employee ID. Just don't forget to send back your ID! They will file to a collections agency (for $100) if it isn't returned.
