Correct me if I’m wrong but this vacancy didn’t include any displacements, right? So if nobody bid into the open positions in IAD then the company would have had to upgrade and recall more pilots?

that is correct, but that would take some serious conspiring between pilots to have everyone’s bid sheet keep them in the same base
