Why would Delta add another variable to their regional model, when they've made it clear they are moving away from it, coupled with the fact that they have their own regional who is one of the few who can maintain hiring to be growing their fleet currently?

From the sounds of it, Delta has not been pleased at all with their performance as of late (for the most part).

Yup, they own them. Their performance has sucked for some time on both the 700-900, but for some reason they keep them around

I'm not saying it's not possible that this is an AWAC order, but just keep in mind there was an identical press release some time last year and it ended up being an AA order when the buyer was "revealed."
I just hope that if this is indeed an AWAC order, the flying is for someone else because frankly I'm sick of the AA product.

Because they already have Mesa flying the 900's. American has a small investment in them and if 900 flying was to be added to American I'm sure Parker would give them to Mesa instead of AWAC. However I would hope they would go to AWAC because you guys offer a better product. This however is the regionals where the Mainline Carriers will pay less for an o.k. product.
