Getting a seat cushion replaced at the moment, that's what's going on today. Then tomorrow I fly fast and go home.

Still reminded of the overly detailed writeup in the logbook a couple months ago...."Passenger had her period in seat 3A...."

If you get hired, you can now go straight to Assistant Chief Pilot and get Captain qualified out of seniority.

Lately the company has been hiring outside the company for "management pilots." They are part of the training department/asst chief pilot positions, and since their position requires them to be left seat qualified, they are essentially upgraded out of order of seniority. That's not to say they are making captain pay because they are salaried positions, and it is based on whatever they negotiated for themselves. The real threat to this is when they start using these "management pilots" regularly when staffing levels are tight. Then, they are basically holding back upgrades.

We are hiring 8-12 a month with the next avail class in late Sept. Although interviews have taken place twice a week, mostly in ORF, over the last month. With that in mind, Oct may be in view for some.

With the new ATP req's, most people don't have the mins. Many have more than two ride failures which excludes them from employment. The CFI ride is over looked as most applicants now a days have fail'd some portion of it.

If you have a felony in the last 10 years, you might wanna wait until 10yrs passes by.
