Did Air Wisconsin stop hiring FO's?

I recently applied with the company for the FO position, it is in "not reviewed" status and now the opening is gone from the job openings list. Any word on this?

I remember it was talked about in the last air wisconsin topic. Take a look there.

Opening is still listed...you have to scroll down. They are still hiring.

Probably a good thing that you can't find the job opening. The PDT vote will be the final nail in the coffin IMO.

I had a Wiskey FO in the jumpseat not long ago. He said they were hiring because they were going to get 700's from Eagle and Wiskey was the only regional that could staff them.... Maybe that's why they stopped hiring??

Not sure about that about. I heard that Parker has told Wiskey he wasn't going to pay for the new paint on the planes. I'm thinking Wiskey might be looking for a new code share partner or staying with American but using about half the planes.

And with the WO's reducing there cost I'm sure Wiskey people will be asked to take a pay cut also. Writing is on the wall.

Depends if PSA can staff the 30 CRJ-900's they're getting, plus the now 47 CRJ-700's. I think PSA has taken maybe a dozen or less -900's so far. Doesn't look good for AWAC, unless as you said they can find a new partner to fly for.

When you say wo's reducing their cost what you really mean to say is the wo pilots whoring themselves out and offering to work for less

PSA is on schedule with the 900's. 2 per month. 7 and 8 will be delivered this month. I did hear that same rumor about painting Wiskey planes though.

Whiskey has always been bidding on RFP's , they have never won any. Why? because they aren't cheap. Parker has openly sated that if he could burn the 200 contracts he would.
Whiskey people will not be taking a pay cut, they are already on a concessionary contract that is still better than most.
