I guess...but if these were going to not be “MAX” branded, I would think Alaska would have gotten out in front with the rebranding effort with this announcement.

Only 39% Americans polled even remembered the MAX crashes. The recent media poll said people would hesitate about a MAX but only after they were reminded about the crashes. The MAX shouldn’t have any customer trust issues once it’s flying again. People have short memories, the crashes were old news, and more importantly their worry brain power is all focused on the Coronavirus.
