Congratulations to the AK pilots for their strike vote. If you keep Constance away from the bargaining table, maybe the toxic elements will be held at bay.

Wrong.
Nothing will ever make commuting as good as living in base. As to whether commuting is worthwhile is circumstantial and in the eye of the beholder. Commuter benefits and accommodations can make it more worthwhile. People commute because they have to not because they want to. You’re still losing your off days regardless of what perks you get. You call it worthwhile, I call it being forced to do it. Which it is, you’re stuck. Unless you enjoy being gone from family, then it’s definitely worthwhile! |

Good on the ual CEO for seeing the reality of the coming pilot shortage. I fear for our companies survival if we don't beat ual narrow body rates considering they are putting new hires in wide bodies. new hires in wide bodies??? That is not a good thing. Why are all the non new hire FOs passing up those positions? |

what? Good on the UAL CEO? You mean the one that hates pilots! Please post all the details of the AIP. Oh wait you can’t. No one knows what was agreed to. Talk to a United pilot, they have no clue what was agreed to.

Do you think they are getting a concessionary contract? Our highest attrition was to UAL before their new contract. Management offered us a proposal less than their CURRENT contract. The ual ceo has been quoted they are doing this with the pilot shortage in mind. Their union seems happy. What are you trying to say? |

From what I understand nothing has been agreed to over there. I don’t even think their union has voted yes on it.. which means it’s still and aip and not a TA.. so your point makes very little sense.
