If you are on reserve on one of the designated holidays you receive holiday pay on top of guarantee.

It is “pay only” so yes. If you don’t break guarantee then you will still receive 5 hours of pay extra for having a reserve day on a holiday. No need to be assigned a trip.

Am I correct to read that the company 16% is only on the first 306K, and that anything over that will result in a one-time payout on Dec 31 as additional money? If so, then for a lot of CAs is that 33 grand check mean another $5,280 on Dec 31 as ER Contribution AS Pilot? Don't know if I did that correctly. I took it to mean if you make above 306k, you’re getting another 16% as normal cash.

306,000 is an IRS limit….Changes every year. There is an adjustment at the end of the year for that. Not in that plan so have never seen it but I hear about it. The term might be “cash over cap” |
Thanks for the clarification. So the 33k isn’t going to include the retirement contribution, but the 33k does go towards the 306k cap, correct? Essentially hitting the cap sooner and therefore getting more cash over cap?

Question about the ADG. If I have a 3 day. First day is 7.5 block. Day 2, 6.5 block. Day 3, 2.0. The total for the trip is 16.0 hrs. Do I get the 5:15 for day 3 to bump up the total or since all 3 days combined is 15:45 (each day 5:15 x 3)? I only get the 16.0? Or on day 3, 5:15?
Thanks. |
