Is the bonus seniority in the room with us now?

That is a deeply flawed assumption.
When the WB pilots use their bonus seniority to invade your base and seat you will certainly feel the effects. Seniority is a zero sum game, loosing relative seniority on the overall list and having a bunch of folks dumped ahead of you because of completely subjective criteria will 100% effect your career…until you retire. |

Why would a WB pilot invade your base and seat? No one flying a WB wants to fly a 737, especially when we have two WB domiciles on the mainland now. There is a reason WB FO is senior to NB CA at all the legacy’s, just saying.
Yes, “we” now have two mainland WB bases, you’re welcome. |

If you’re a WB FO who now has seniority to hold NB Capt in the city you live in, I’m guessing that might be tempting. Or a WB Capt that lives in say PDX, SFO or LAX and doesn’t want to commute.

Thank you, personally, for rescuing us.
At this point, I’m just hoping our company survives this adventure. The turnaround seems to be making a little progress. But, a lot of risk is on the table. |

Well, since your future career expectations are riding on the backs of legacy Alaska pilots…you’re welcome. Personally.

I hope you like swinging gear and talking on the radios! Giddy up! Personally.
And with the narrow body fleets that I imagine will work both ways. No fences around the A321 or the 737 I assume, based on past precedent? |
