There are 4 reasons why Alaska: 1) PDX base. 2) You are a masochist. 3) Nobody wants you. 4) You are in love with the care bear.

Default Logbooks to interview?

Have an interview coming up, and the invitation said just to bring passport and driver's license, with an option for recommendations. Nothing about logbooks, pilot certificate, or the like. Has anyone interviewed recently, and did you bring your logbooks?

I interviewed back in March. Brought my logbooks, but no one looked at them. And in training too no one has looked at them either. So I’d say don’t worry about bringing them.

Is it really that difficult to bring your logbooks to a pilot interview? If you don’t end up needing them then no big deal. If someone asks for them and you don’t have them, you are going to look unprepared having nothing to provide.

I’d also suggest having them and not needing them over needing g but not having. I’d assume it’s the interviewers discretion if they want to look

Risk is getting them lost or stolen. Seems to happen a lot in my observation.

I'd simply email the recruiter. Or just bring a printout of your e-logbook, doubt that a major cares about your student pilot endorsements.

This is the AS forum.

Although I guess an AS new hire actually does need to know what DL's policy is

Hehe, yeah.

You just said you doubted a major cares, Delta seems to care for some reason.

Alaska seems to not care. Just the same, I'd bring them, and print at least a summary from your electronic logbook.
