Anyone have a clue how deep the pool is these days?

At WAI they said it was something like 60-70 deep

Has a class been scheduled for April or May? I was told the March 28th class has the mid July interviewers. I interview August 4th and have not heard a thing.

I heard a rumor that they have started calling people out of order of their interview date. If they think someone who has interviewed more recently is going to jump ship, then they will call them sooner for class. If you sound like someone who doesn't mind swimming for awhile, then you get pushed further down the list. Now that's just what I heard out on the line from a few poolies, not sure how accurate it is.

Have any classes run in April? Anyone called for May or June?

The 2017 Alaska pilot pool is filling up again and we need somewhere to discuss topics and share information away from the Alaska hiring thread.

Let's keep this positive; we are in the pool because we have put a lot of effort to get to this point in the hiring process and I for one am very excited to be joining the Alaska team.

I have RSVP'd for the gathering event in July but have not heard anything back yet, anyone receive a response to their RSVP? I am hoping there will be a announcement of 2017 training dates so I can start making plans.

I did hear that calls are going out for the July 17th class. There's finally some action in the pool!
