For those of you who got the July 17th class...did they call or email you about the class? Also, did they mention anything about providing hotels during training?

Called.

I asked specifically about hotels on that call. The response was "is that what you've heard?"

Bottom line, it's still a rumor.

How many pilots at Alaska now including these July classes? Is it over 2000 now?

As of March 13, 2017 the total AS pilot count was 1907. Including the 24 that will hired in July that makes for 1931 total pilots at AS. This number does not include any attrition that has occurred since 3/13.

How many pilots has VX hired in 2017 as of this post?

I think we are at just over half your figure (1931) of gray shirt bus drivers.

70 new hires In class Jan-May 2017. I don't know if there were June or July classes. For the year it's suppose to be about 130 new hires.

March 2017 pilot list we have 760 pilots. Even factoring in remaining new hires, we're not gonna be over 900. About 840ish by year end.

That's great to hear. No response to the RSVP yet.

There should be something out about the poolie event at the Museum of Flight this coming week.

I can't make it to the Museum of flight event. I would sure appreciate someone giving a summary on here when they go!

Interviewed February 15th and 16th. Got a call for July 31st class. I plan on attending the event on the 13th as well. Anybody else looking into crash pads for class?
