Not to intercede on the Alaska Air negativity, but most at AA concede that what really brought mgmt around to giving the un-negotiated raises was the pilots union actually getting their pilots to bid and plan on using their allotted vacation rather than selling it back. That had AA mgmt pretty scared at what manning over the summer would look like if pilots actually used all of their vacation.

If anyone in the pool didn't already know where Alaska stands in relation to other airlines, then that's their own bad for not doing any research. But I would guess everyone knows or can find our the information elsewhere.

Keeping on subject; I was told they are trying to let everyone know potential class dates by the end of July who are in the pool. Also, in the future to let them know at the end of the interview.

Not really accurate....2008 would be a better snap shot. We furloughed in late 08 and did not hire anyone until 2012....So it really is at 9 years
