why would you make this up? You never asked me anything.
JK told me earlier this year Alaska rates wouldn’t get it done. We were talking about Alaska’s rates at the time. Maybe he feels differently now with what’s going on the industry. Still such a weird thing to make up Sally, why lie about something so stupid? If you’d have messaged me I would have told you. Whatever. May be naive but I think the company needs to get something done and will have to do it soon. I will tell you this though, I don't want the garbage that the company keeps putting out. I guess we will see. |

I don't know man. Sounds like a spin on what he probably actually told you. He is one of the NC that I have talked to more than once and he hasn't said anything like that to me. He told me months ago that the company offer wasn't going to get it done and that there was no reason why we shouldn't be paid as well as eveyone else. He told me every time that the contract was going to be a "total Package" and that pay was not the most important thing. It just seems weird that he would tell you there was a line in the sand on pay rates.

I guess we will see. And what JK told me sounds like the same thing he told you: legacy rates or nothing. Why should we be paid a penny less than anybody else? I mean, that’s exactly what he said: why should we be paid anything less than everybody else? That means legacy rates or nothing. I am saying, but stop flushing hundreds of thousands of dollars down the toilet and get realistic. The mediator that holds our fate in her hands, spent her career at frontier and Spirit, you think she’s gonna buy the rhetoric that working for Allegiant should pay the same as working for Delta? That where you work should have zero impact on how much you get paid. you wanna be that naïve, then I guess that’s your deal. But I prefer to live in the real world. And I think our union should live in the real world too, and stop living in the clouds and using us all as pawns. maybe you really are that naïve if you think the company needs to get something done soon. Management is loving how our union is moving in slow motion. They are saving tens of millions of dollars by keeping this slow. The last thing management wants is to get a quick deal when they can keep us working for a discount. And the union is playing right into their hands… |

It is what it is. One section at a time until there's an impass. I would buckle in for another year minimum.

The question is why? Why is the union intentionally slowing negotiations? Do they see something we don’t see in the market and that waiting 12-18 months will be a better environment to finish a deal? But of course Tom, you are still repeating the same platitudes and sound bites that AR repeated. You really are one of kind. Never met a guy so gullible. If only there were more people like you - swamp seeker resort would have sold out of all the time shares MG tried to pitch… |

You sound completely ridiculous accusing not one but two Union administrations of holding up a deal for some secret reason that apparently only benefits the Union and the company.
This administration is suspect. GU fires Owens - who has way more experience negotiating than anybody else we have had - because Owens was moving too quickly to getting a deal done. Are you saying I shouldn’t be suspect of GU slowing negotiations when he fires the most experienced negotiator we’ve had because he was making too much progress and moving too fast? I can’t believe the way you eat whatever GU dangles in front of your face. You are the same guy who bashed 1224 and was so happy that we made our own local and that AR was smartest guy ever for saving us from GU and 1224. Now we are supposed to believe you when you tell us GU is gonna save us from the disaster that AR created?? You are worse than a religious sycophant with this loyalty crap. You’re acting like beaten puppy who just keeps coming back for more. Again, I’m a prophet with this stuff and just revealing what I’ve seen, heard and been told. I haven’t been wrong yet and I’m not wrong on this one either. But go ahead call me a management tool, tell me i’m the crazy one for believing in conspiracy theories. Again what I have been wrong about? I told yall that the NC committee told me legacy rates or nothing and yall said I was lying. Then I told yall it was JK and Sally admitted that I was right. That JK does run his mouth but that he was just giving his opinion. The AR stuff is like gospel at this point. Now’s the time Tom for you to ignore all of my arguments, the facts that I have revealed and predicted for years and my record as a prophet. I should change my name to Nate to Nostradamus at this point… |

are you saying the AR administration was not a mob boss who had no clue what he was doing and embezzled $1mil of our dues? Yes I guess I am that ridiculous for telling specifically you Tom who AR was and you continued to worship him.

Which member of the NC told you that? I have been to a base visit and talked to a couple of them on the phone and none of them have told me that. They said JetBlue and SWA are the highest paid (not Delta/United/AA), but never said that Alaska rates (or any rate for that matter) "won't get it done." In fact, they told me the rates aren't most important part, it's the other stuff. I was told that the rates will be part of an overall package. I'm throwing the BS flag here.
Not sure of Alaska's current pay (maybe you were referring to their current offer on the table), but on the point of jetBlue being paid higher than the legacies, isn't really true... Current B6 maxed out 320 Capt / FO pay is $359.40 / $248.45 (same rate for CEO and NEO) Current DL maxed out 320 Capt / FO pay is $360.85 / $246.47 for CEO's and $374.36 / $255.69 for NEO's I believe Alaska's offer.is for maxed out Capt / FO pay (effective 1 Sep 2025) would be $375.74 / $259.75 DL 2025 rates for 737/900 and A-321CEO would be $375.28 / $256.33 and NEO rates of $389.34 / $265.92. So Alaska's potential new rates would be between DL CEO and NEO rates. Wishing y'all the best! |

I'm not gonna get in the middle of your discussion with Tom. BUT I will say this... You are aware why Owens was removed right? He even admitted to sympathizing with Robles's removal being some sort of an inside job? Not to mention Owens was agreeing to things that were not beneficial to the pilot group. If you don't believe me ask the current NC. Owens is the same guy that was removed from the negotiating table at American by the pilot group. Anyway, carry on.
This sounds nothing more than one scorned individual seeking retribution for events that happened years ago with 1224, and you guys took GU's BS hook, line, and sinker. But, you know, give the guy a chance, and give the teamsters another chance. It'll be just another decade of crappy representation. |
