any good new rumors out there? Awfully quiet in here lately

1- GU should be out of here by the end of the month, or beginning of April.

2- PBS/Sec 15 should be settled very soon.

3- Expect for a full TA before summer.

4- Company has been cooperative, and wanting to get a deal done ASAP.

Mediator gave IBT lawyers a June deadline. If no deal then we have to wait til JCBA

mediator could be bluffing to pressure Union to do a deal, but I have seen and heard too many people in the know confirm that mediator gave us a June deadline.

now the”deal by summer” comments all over the messaging apps and facebook mar a lot more sense

so the mediator thinks the union is wasting time and not the company, so the union needs to start giving concessions to get a deal to vote by june. yikes

It gets better. Guess what hotel we're using for these little mini-TDYs to PGD. Everybody is getting a piece of the pie.

Makes ya think, huh? I realize you are still pointing fingers at the company, but the mediator (who does this for a career) thinks otherwise.

I don't believe it. It would be great if it was direct from the mediator but instead we have to put our trust in captain nate. After endless deceitful half truths, there is no credibility there.

name one time I was wrong? I use not been wrong on this stuff. The union gossips like school girls because they are all trying to cover their own *ss.

Ask the union reps in the room they will not deny it. I heard and saw messages that said the deadline was June.

Was the mediator bluffing to try and pressure the union? Could be. Some union ppl think it was an empty threat but he absolutely said it.

remember: this mediator also has frontier. F9 management has said they are looking for a cost neutral contract. The mediator sees Allegiant putting 50% raises on the table and then sees frontier putting “cost neutral improvements” on the table for months on end and what do you think he’s gonna believe?

(Update F9 management recently threw a %10 raise at them… to nobody’s surprise frontier’s line pilots were not impressed).

I think the last 3 mediators saw how our "Talent" negotiated and conducted themselves. It's a miracle we weren't iced out earlier. As far as "concessions" coming, well, no. It's only a concession if you already have it and give it back. We haven't seen a TA yet, so no one can genuinely claim concessions are being or have been made. Moving of prior wishlists by prior NC members, and closing the gap on the wants and needs of both parties involved; well, that's called negotiating and reaching a win/win deal.

BINGO. Not just the current mediator, but the past two as well.
