Now the PVD base, well its a SLC based company and if I know anything about mormons is that they’re very supportive of each other. Breeze will do just fine there. I’m sure Neeleman gave Maury a call to thank him for that new terminal so chill out guys.
Hush, the adults are talking. Go outside and play.

So seriously are they going to put the A220s here or will they try to do this with RJs? I don't care about the "LDS culture" it's said they have, allegiant has serviced PVU for a long time. This company is well known to them. Plus I don't see us going to HPN or anywhere in the northeast from PVU any time soon so really they won't even be competing with allegiant directly. Really this is an attack on Delta in SLC. Why wouldn't someone drive an hour to save $500 on a trip. They seem a little more worried than any allegiant pilots should be but Delta could give away $50 seats on all matching routes until Moxy runs out of money. Which they're likely to do. DN may have really picked a fight he can't win this time.

Allegiant will keep doing the Mormon shuttle from PVU and rake it in with full flights.

This will have zero impact on Delta in SLC. If you think Deltas SLC pax are from the SL area then you’re clueless about how hubs work.

I think this is a rather harsh reply that is irrelevant to G4 operations (since we don’t/can’t do hub and spoke). I personally don’t think we need to care how DAL functions: two completely different offered products. SLC could close tomorrow but PVU could be a “long-term” option (whatever that means in G4 world). Those DAL pilots will commute.

Back on topic, and this may not matter, but I’ve met a lot of LDS pilots in IWA and LAS. That goes pretty far IMO. That’s why I think PVU is a good pick from a cultural perspective. If LDS pilots are flying in an LDS region, it is something. Hell, they respect the heck out of OO.

My opinion.

Seriously, it cracks me up. No matter what happens, good, bad, blah, some of y'all just gotta turn into some kind of expert on your soap box. So Breeze is coming to PVU for some "competition", what of it? G4 is doing their thing, Breeze is doing their thing, just shut up and let the pieces fall into place and lets see what happens. Yeah, some of you disgruntled Allegiant haters just find another opportunity to talk *******t and tell everyone how management is incompetent, unprepared and how all of us poor chumps are in for the ride of our lives. Seriously, you should become a host on the fu*****ng view. You'd fit right in!!

Allegiant is not a legacy, Allegiant is Allegiant. Many of us get frustrated with the BS here, realize that our contract is trash compared to other places. But we still have faith, or are giving the benefit of the doubt to the current state of negotiations and our Union. If the sh****t really hits the fan bc it all falls apart, then we are ready to hold people accountable. In the meantime, we're making due with what we have, work hard, go home to our families, spend quality time with them, discuss of the what ifs and are patiently waiting for something good. We hope for something good, and hopefully sooner rather than later we will get it. If we don't, then it at THAT TIME it will be time to reassess and depending on the state of the economy and industry we will do what we individually think is best for our families. IF the time comes to move on, many of us wont spend every day to come back here and just talk sh*****t about the employer we left for obvious reasons, but at one point gave us a good (decent at times) quality of life and put food on the table.
