Smile News on Allegiant?

So I did the essay, now what? If I haven't heard by now, does that mean I am disqualified? I'm a corporate guys, so these airline HR things are rather new to me. Any help?

Interviews are complete for this round of hiring. Class of 16 starts in a few weeks.

You're not disqualified. Allegiant has hired quite a few corporate guys in the past. Competition for the class was pretty high and there were a lot of candidates to choose from. There will probably be more hiring in the new year for all the charters we picked up. Don't let this discourage you from applying again.

Default Thanks, but no thanks.

Received this today:

"Thank you for taking the time to apply and express your interest in working for Allegiant Air. Your desire to join our team is a compliment.

At this time we have selected other candidates for the Pilot-First Officer (2010234) position.

Your resume will remain active for one year. You can update your information via the careers section on our website Discount Flights and Vacation Packages | Travel Is Our Deal | Airfare & Hotel Packages from Allegiant. You are welcome to reapply for this position after six months. You may also apply for any other open position within the company. We suggest creating a Job Agent through our website that will electronically notify you when the position of interest becomes available.

Again, we thank you for your interest."

Oh well...back to the search.
