Default MIA BUS vs 737

Which fleet is better/quicker to get in MIA? BUS/737? Better schedules? Which has More Carribean flying? If you are on a D fleet can you just base transfer to an “I” Fleet?
Example, can you just base transfer from LGA737D to MIA 737I and do a class?

Will have to choose between the 2 most likely in new hire class and transfer there as no MIA new hire slots offered lately.

Initial international school is four(?) days. No lock-in for transfers between D and I. You can bid back and forth every job vacancy run if you want to.

Thanks, so just for clarity.. you can bid 737D LGA to 737i MIA right away once you can hold it? No 6 month initial lock in or seat locks incurred to do so?

I think that is what you are saying but just want to be sure.

For domicile transfers are those open monthly or does their have to be a vacancy bid? If so, how often are they?

MIA is combining soon. Hopefully the rest do as well. It’s when not if so might as well just get it done with.

There is a Mutual Base Exchange, facilitated by APA that runs monthly. However, it's company discretion whether or not they want to allow a change of division. Vacancy Bids seem to be happening every 3 months or so.

Quick non-scientific look? Neither, they both will suck in regards to redeye exposure.

All depends on your situation. When I was junior FO here, I could sleep like the dead when younger any time of day along with massive body clock shifts without any probs.

Past 50 now? BS chit, can't move sleep/wake up body clock more than 1 hour week without a good bottle of Barbancourt Reserve Rum.
