AA Jumpseat/Standby Question
Good Morning AAviators,
What is the latest someone (offline crewmember) can check in and request a jumpseat or cabin seat (if available)?
Two carriers I know allow up until 30 minutes prior to departure, another up until door close. I've jumpsat several times on AA, but was able to be over an hour early each time. Due to training/transportation, I know I can't make it 1 hr. prior to your flight this time and I don't know your policy.
Traveling to pay respects for a funeral and AA is the only carrier that can get me there tonight.
Many thanks in advance!

Your mileage may vary but the other day I got to the gate after they closed out the flight and the gate agent opened the flight back up and let me on, amazingly. I was very thankful because I didn’t expect it.
