LAX 320 captain seniority
Delta guy here with a question and request-
Wondering what the most junior airbus captain seniority in LAX is. Additionally it would be great if someone could provide a copy of the current AA seniority list. A friend says he can hold it as a late 99 US hire. Just curious. Thanks |
Junior airbus captain is 11,000ish. That could be a late 2012/ early 13 hire for former US guys.
Lax 73 captain is early 2014 hire. |
What make LAX so junior? Why are guys able to upgrade in 5 years?

PHL and LGA also have narrow body captains less than 5 years right? Not just LAX

Yeah but I get why people don’t want to live in PHL. LGA is a nightmare to drive in and out. Captain pay in LA doesn’t seem too bad but I get your point.
What other domiciles have Captains in less than 5 years? |

MIA Airbus went in the low 11,000... 2013 AA hire.
|
DCA, MIA, LGA, LAX, and PHL all have around 5 year captains.
