Whatever the estimated date was is when 2nd year pay will be effective.
If I can pile on just a little, the pay group has been fairly on top of getting your pay up to speed. So if Dec 20 was an estimated completion date then I would certainly expect to see the pay reflected on the Jan 15th true up pay. They have been fairly quick lately

A lot of these questions from new folks who have just started can be answered in detail (and plain English) by the Compass Project guides. I’ve been here 1.5 years and still consult them often.
