Not sure where your getting your information from as I see your a retired 747 Captain so I doubt your AA but the company has approach APA over the last 5 years about setting a time on call outs as well as asked for airport ready reserves.

Except that on LC the phone usually does ring..since you are first to get called. SC seems like a sweeter deal if you live in base. Last to get called, which means many times you don't get called at all. Which is also the same reason that SC sucks so hard for commuters.

Well you said the junior part of it would change so I took you for your word.....obviously lots of things could happen to slow down the movement but if things continue on the current path I think you will see LGA CA’s in the 12,000 seniority range for awhile, there are just too many retirements and it is just such an undesirable position for many that they will bypass it to do something else.

now that ^ is a true statement...not sure what base you are at but if you don have weekends off in CLT on SC rsv, be prepared to fly everyday on call just about....
