You cant scream fair market and chastise the foreign airlines and then go begging Uncle Sam yourself. Its unbelievable to see the two faced comments. From now on I support ME3 and NAI if US airlines take this government bail out.

You're a weirdo. Seriously.

So you consider government assistance to a company that could not compete in a normal economy with a government bailout during an absolutely unprecedented economic collapse?

Read it, before anyone ever thinks of taking concessions.

The bailout letter we saw only guarantees our jobs through August for 29 billion dollars. We've seen this playbook before. They'll take the government money, squeeze us for concessions, and when August comes around, they will furlough anyways.

How many pilots are employed by 121 passenger airlines in the US? 60k or so? That's nearly 500k per pilot.

"We don't have the power to make the correct decisions". We were all along for the ride as hourly workers. We had zero input on every corporate consideration and decision. The only thing you control on the assembly line is thrust levers and your speed.
Take the bail out.
