American to buy Alaska?

When others run out, investors jump in.

I’m hearing from a good source American is quietly looking at the possibilities of buying Alaska now at a significant reduced price cap.

Anyone else hearing the same with more info on this?

Yeah, it’s confirmed. I heard the same from a van driver that starts class to be an AA flight attendant next month.

The bailout says they can’t buy their own stock, it doesn’t say they can’t purchase other airlines stock.

Your good source is trying to pump Alaska stock. Have you looked at AA balance sheet ? The are not buying anyone.
