Southwest saying 5 years, lol... right.
The others saying 2-3, makes perfect sense. They are going to be conservative and over estimate the recovery time. If they say 18 months and it takes 24-36, they look horrible and their stock takes another dive. If they say 24-36 and it is over in that time, they look good for predicting it properly. If it is back in 18, that's fantastic news and is a win. To me, if they say 24-36 that really means 18-24.

Boeing shouldn't saying anything about anything other than 1. Fixing the Max, 2. Tooling and trash found in the walls of their aircraft and how they're fixing that, and 3. AF delivery issues and how they're fixing that. Plus whatever other issues that dumpster fire of a place has going on.

Boeing ——> Has unions to squeeze
Airbus ——-> Has unions to squeeze
Delta ———> Has a union to squeeze
SWA ——--> Has unions to squeeze
I’m not saying May 2020, but Summer 2022 will be above summer 2019.

You forgot to mention another CEO that promised to never ever lose any money.

Remember the Airways guys that took their first (?) pay cut? Went straight into the pockets of upper management (Correct me if I am wrong).
Don't let "experts" scare you. Everybody freaks out about COVID-19, yet people refuse(d) to get flu shots.

A lot of wishful thinking goes on here if you hadn't noticed. But that's to be expected when people are afraid of losing their jobs.

Then he gets an attitude with the hotel front desk girl after he finds out the gym is closed. He demands to know why.
