Now that we’ve all paid the troll toll, can we move on?

What a great response from the same individual who was so upset no more than a few hours ago because someone was trolling his apparent airline.

You’re probably still at Envoy making the claim you’ve already “flowed” to American.

Yeah worked there for years and never heard anyone say anything about “skywest mainline” except for joking about how good the 175 guys had it vs the CRJ guys. I have heard several envoy pilots say they were AA...couldn’t roll my eyes hard enough.

I work for Delta, and I’m not hoping for AA to fail. So I cancel that guy out. If any carrier goes into chapter 11, we all suffer. Good luck guys and girls.

I’ll second E’s in post here, hope we all pull through this relatively in tact.

That’s always been the joke between CRJ and ERJ guys and gals at SkyWest. As someone who was CRJ switched to ERJ, yeah the flying is substantially better, and the 175 is a sweet jet, no doubt.

I’m fairly certain some other regional guys overheard the joke not knowing the background behind it and turned it into “SkyWest” thinks they’re “Mainline”, and ran with it. The irony is they clearly think more of us then we do of ourselves.

shouldn’t have included the part about Envoy... but I can honestly say I never worked with anyone at OO who thought the “mainline” thing was anything but a joke. My point was the only regional group I ever saw say they were mainline was affiliated with AA (BC an AA pilot went off about Skywest mainline) Every pilot group has their 5%, OO had theirs and I’m sure the envoy guys who insist they are AA like theKooj guy does are part of their 5%.

What I care about is that we are (trying to have) a conversation about bankruptcy here at AA, while I see e170s flying between hubs and I was out of a job and probably will be out of a job in a few months. And those guys flying the jets talking about how great it is they are seeing new cities without having a clue what they’re really saying. So forgive me for saying not only do I not care about what Skywest and envoy think of themselves, I really don’t want to have to read through it on an AA forum. No disrespect but take it elsewhere

Your union APA gave them the flying, own up to it and face it. No disrespect.

Agree on that. I was kinda surprised a Skywest pilot had the audacity to come onto an American thread, question where I work and try to throw insults around, but whatever. The hub-to-hub flying on RJ's sucks, but as long as it doesn't violate scope, there's not much we can do...you get what you negotiate and don't expect management to do you any favors out of the goodness of their hearts.

My biggest concern going forward is like most, lack of revenue. I think we're in for a few rough years ahead, but as long as revenue and passengers make a decent semblance of a comeback, I don't see bankruptcy in our future. That's a big IF though. My other big concern is the possibility of a JetBlue merger and how it will decimate the seniority list, specifically the career expectations of younger AA pilots towards the bottom of the list (yes, that's where I stand.)

That being said, I personally don't stress about any of the above because it's all out of my hands.
