Back when you used to only be able to fly 75hr a month it paid well…. It’s something like 90-92hr while realistically working 18-19 days a month, and no ability to pick up premium or open time. Your pay rate is whatever your seniority can hold. Your schedule gets messed with, a lot

I’m in the exact same boat. I got out 14 years ago but I felt I needed to list military service and as a result I did have to list an extra non relative job to make the gap less big. I can’t imagine listing extra would hurt you but don’t quote me on it.

Is marking yourself as a Veteran in the self disclosure not enough? I’m 16 years out of the military and didn’t go back to list that as a job, just marked as veteran. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Work Traits Assessment

Is this assessment pass or fail or is it like the skills test that just shows complete?

Why are they struggling to replenish the CKA? It pays well I assume?

CKA pay is based on what group aircraft they can’t hold. Pre-COVID we had Group III pay. Most NW CKA cants hold group VI pay. So when AA eliminated group III pay the majority of NB CKA went to Group II Pay. They also have issues with QOL and scheduling. Just spoke with a LGA CKA the other day, he said we have 6 737 CKA systemwide, down from 30.

Is that true?!! if so there is no way they can handle the upgrades let alone the new hires...

What’s Group VI pay? Is that the category that includes the Spruce Moose?

That doesn’t sound possible. Even 30 CKA doesn’t sound like enough. Aren’t these the same guys that are doing line checks as well? 6 CKA is beyond crisis mode, it’s a flat out implosion.

B52 configured for 3 classes. Heard it will be mostly Caribbean turns out of Bozeman. Should be pretty senior for the FD position.

I’m guessing he is referring to “L” type check airman, which only fly OE…no sims.
