Vacancy

Vacancy bid for September posted. Over 350 upgrades.

Not many 787 FOs being added. Looks like network planning is not convinced that Boeing is actually going to deliver 10 787s in the next year.

That was already addressed. The current staffing was for that in the last bid.

Plenty of LAX upgrades. They just require an Alaska Airlines employee number. 😂

My guess is it goes under 2 years, and not just in LGA. It’s a huge number of upgrades and many don’t want to have their summer screwed up with training. Others will choose to go widebody. The “logjam” is set to burst.

under 2 years in July will mean Sept 2021 hires since we didn’t hire between March 2020 and sept 2021. I’m going with early 2019 hire.

Holding a captain seat don't take much seniority anymore if your willing to do the whole LGA/JFK/EWR thing. I'm more interested in how low it drops for bases like CLT/DFW/ORD/PHX. Not including the last bid, I can't remember a time when Clt had CA's with seniority any higher than about 9800. DCA/MIA/PHL/LAX should all be pretty junior though I'd bet.

well, as of today I’m way more sr as a CA in DFW than in LGA or any base. Now in June that switches in LGA but only by a few percentage points. Have you looked at expanded 3xp beta?
