What does rarely mean? Not defined. Who's judging it on an individual basis? Well it doesn't say but I guess your chief pilot, whomever that may be.

Company can’t and won’t define “rarely”. If you’re harassed by a chief pilot for use of the commuting policy (you won’t be), elevate it to your reps and submit an EthicsPoint complaint to HR (you won’t have to, because you won’t be harassed). You won’t have to provide any planned flight info because commuting doesn’t have to be via air.

Company isn’t the only one who can drive a truck through poorly written language.

Be smart about it and don’t lie on a recorded line. Use it judiciously and it’s a non-event.

The only people that get harassed regularly about commuting are probies

I have a cjo and plan on commuting.
I am curious what schedules commuters are able to get.
Days off per month?
Days off in a row?
And get at least 75 hours a month.

Man, this varies so much. Where will you be commuting from? I commute and rarely get a hotel, usually self in&lifted but not always. I easily commute sitting long call reserve. It is absolutely possible to commute in on day 1 and home on the last day, but where you live and seniority will play a part. Sitting reserve, I often get trips that start or end with a DHD (lots of premium trips are like that too). You can then just commute straight to your second leg. So I’m sure you’ll hear from folks with miserable commute experiences, but I can’t complain.
