They have something called a "Talent Acquisition" which I received at the time I was notified to set up an interview. I am not sure what it is exactly, but it says it is something to expedite your process. I had to go to an AA website and create a profile. I will soon see if it does anything, I guess. I have 18500 hours and 5600 turbine PIC, so maybe it's a hours thing???

Do they give you class dates to chose from? Is it possible to defer? Might need to push back a month or two if possible.

They tell you what date they have available and you can push it back if you want. I’d avoid that, if possible.

I just got called for an opened slot in a January class, so it does happen. Not sure how they decide who to call, but I had a Sept CJO.

They still filling APR classes? Or have they moved onto MAR?

I recommend starting as early as you can and then enjoy the 2-3 months off until you start sims. Get the seniority number first if possible.
