CJOs at Delta and United. Nada from AA. Took the Delta opportunity with about 6 months until I flowed to AA from a wholly owned. Sucked to miss out on the $100K bonus and have to pay back $30K.

But by the end of my 2nd year here I will have made all that back and then some. And I’m making way more than my buddies at AA with better QOL.

I would assume you’re also making more than the guys at United yet they don’t seem to get the same level of pushback AA does.

How long you been at Delta? Airframe? How many weekends have you worked in the last 2-3 months? How many nights away from home do you average? How many days off do you average?

I’m new at AA and worked 2 weekends in the last 2 months both by choice for a nice island layover and another for a different layover I wanted, average 7-8 nights away from my bed a month. I averaged 18 days off a month in the last 4 months. Are you saying you’re doing better than that? Just curious.

Well I’m new to AA myself, not done with training yet. What equipment and base are you at? The schedule you just mentioned sounds like the Frontier schedule I had after 9 months and living in base. I was working most weekends however.

I'm starting at AA soon, and I'd love to hear any advice you have on such a nice QOL (base, equipment, bidding strategies, etc.). Maybe living in base is a factor?

You can have any base you want as long as it’s LGA! I kid I kid…or am I?
