Quote: Read the contract. Read 15.N.8 and let us know what it says. It says that the company can completely disregard your PBS award and give you anything that they want, whenever they want. If you bid for commutable trips, they can take them away and make you come in earlier on your first day. Your 3 day trips can become 4 day trips, and your "easy" trips with only 1 or 2 legs per day can be completely disregarded and you will be forced to fly whatever they want.

It is referred to as "retimed". You can be brought in a full day early if they want.

Imagine bidding for a schedule, then the company deletes it and gives you something completely different. Whenever they want. And there is nothing that you can do about it.

Money is good, work rules are the worst in the industry.
Well the "retimed" thing is really just not correct. I voted no and have been a strong dissenter.

The clause you are speaking of is for very small adjustments. Like a minute. You'd still sign in at the same time the flight just might leave 59 minutes later instead of 1 hour.

The other stuff yea. Right there with you. They can't make you come in early on day 1 of a trip though.

Great job parroting that incorrect piece of misinformation from our lying Union. There has been no significant increase in 4 or 5 days over at Delta due to the new RIGs. Regardless, still betcha they get more days off than us for the same credit (this is what counts)

hey, awesome news for them. I hope they don’t increase and the RIG proves fruitful.

My tongue in cheek quote didn’t really have anything to do with the new RIGs though - rather just our new deal contractual trip construction limits compared to theirs. Look them up.

I have, they are exactly the same as we have now. Don't expect anything to change.

Quote: The Delta pilots are happy you guys didn’t negotiate a contract before them. That right there tells you it’s not industry leading. Congrats on tying them on pay rates to the penny. Still third amongst the big 3 once United ratifies, but at least it’s a close 3rd. That’s winning, American style.
It is industry leading on a number of aspects, but not all. There are a lot of things I would have wanted that we didn't get, but it is what it is.
