For those WB captains...I'm not sure that using DOH is a good barometer as there is still a big difference in longevity vs seniority at those DOHs.
Just checked...junior 777 was an AA new hire. Second to the bottom 787 CA was also an AA new hire. The jump of 156 seniority numbers is the end of the 1993 new hires and the beginning of the 1998 new hires which is why there's a 5 year jump. |

Did you just say a new hire got 777? What was the hire date of the most junior captain on property?

Find the AA new hire nearest that seniority and it would be a better 'apples to apples' comparison.

In recent vacancy awards I have seen AA 98 hires get it, but I'm not sure about East. If not already, it shouldn't be to long I would imagine. TWA folks would be sometime after that. |
Will this Vacancy award be the one that influences class drops for April or will there be another one open/close between now and then? -Signed a new guy trying to understand the system a bit better.
