Ahh got ya! Sorry, I've been doing reserve before real time TTS started. Do I have to wait until the 23 or 24 for the following month?, forgot the date.

First, when a pilot posts a trip in TTS it isn't eligible for pickup. It has to go through a batch run (0800&2000 HBT). It will then be RT eligible (shopping cart black).

23rd: TTS batch runs for trips in the following contractual month.
24th: RT begins for the following contractual month.

This is exactly what I was missing. Thanks!

In TTS, you can pick up any posted trip outside of a TTS run. Just click the shopping cart and pick it up. If it's not posted, but balloted, you need to put it in your ballot and let it run to see if it meets their ballot requirements.

If a trip is posted in DECS, go to the N4 in TASC sabre, find the trip, and go through the steps to pick it up, you can even run it in test mode just like you could in LS. If it is posted you don't need any action from the person dropping the trip.

The only thing we really lost with LS was Pilot to Pilot auto trade. There is no mechanisim in TASC Sabre / DECS to automate that process. That is where the authorization part comes from so you can't just screw with someone elses schedule. When something is posted for drop that is the authorization.

I don’t know of a way we can just pickup a posted trip via DECS anymore. Yes, the N4 says “to pick up this trip enter HT in your personal mode” or whatever but the Pilot to Pilot DECS guide we have loaded into our Comply only has instructions for how to drop to another pilot. I assume thats why some are saying on here you have to call the pilot and have them drop it to you. I believe what LS did was run the script from the dropping pilot’s side, thereby putting it on the receiving pilot’s schedule.

I’d love to be wrong and if anyone knows if DECS only pickup is possible for TT posted trips, please post here.

Only P2P trades work in SABRE. TTOT functions do not. Even if a trip is posted, you cant just pick it up. Mobile Sabre gives invalid employee number error. This was by design to force TTS. You have you contact the pilot to get them to trade it to you.

HT/their emp#/your emp#

Enters trade mode (if they have it unlocked).

HTO/B/sequence#/date/position

picks up the trip but it hasn't worked for me yet, usually says the other pilot needs to choose a drop type- UNC/PVD

I guess this is all TTOT stuff so it's useless.
