For those of you at indoc 10 or 17 Jan 2024 classes how many weeks are you getting off before having to retunr for trainig. I know the time lines has chnanged as they have cought up since the end of the year. Im more intrested in the Air Bus time line than anything. Thanks

Im sure someone will have an answer, but you do bid not only for your aircraft/base, but also when you start/finish training. Not sure how big the spread will be, but in my new hire class about 5ish years ago, it was about 3 weeks from the first class to the last class. So if you wanted to go sooner, you could. If you wanted to delay, you could.

In those days, your pay anniversary was based on your proposed finish date, and not the day you started class. So some people wanted to first available class to get off of 1st year pay sooner. Others wanted time off and bid for the later classes. Now, it is all combined to just the DOH for pay longevity as well.

No, no longer bidding for training dates. You bid for aircraft and domicile and training dates are assigned.

We were consistently told it would be a 6-8 week wait by several instructors. Just got my class dates yesterday and it starts 3 weeks after indoc. Someone else is starting 2 weeks after indoc. Both Airbus. I think the 73 people still haven't received dates. So be ready for anything I guess!
